But the periodic timer can only be used as a trigger and not a condition. This is the part of the reason I made the request in the request section.

It would be nice if there was a timer that when the timer is done or when the timer is timing you could triger an event. Say I want to set a trigger for when the screen is on then not have the trigger enabled again until after after an amount of time has passed even though the screen comes on again.
