Re: Android 12
Hey all! I received the OTA update to Android 12 on my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and Automagic won't even start anymore. It claims a series of higher level permissions (privileged phone state) being missing - even ADB:ing permissions are pointless... Have anyone else encountered anything similar? ...

Re: Dynamic globals as triggers
I read my post again and realise that it open up for questions. I'll try to immediately address them to save time. My glob "global_device1_test" will switch between true and false, and that should be the trigger to my flow... ...however; i would want to access it not directly via its actual name (gl...

Dynamic globals as triggers
Dear all, I seem to be lost in the treatment of global triggers... ...I hope that someone out there can guide my steps. Here is the deal; i have a number of android devices, but let's narrow it down to two, and let's call them "device1" and "device2". There is a global variable trigger, that monitor...

Re: Multi-SIM target number identification (case solved)
Dear Desmanto and all, I promised to return with my observations regarding the incoming call target-SIM identification "work-around" sketched by Desmanto. In my case; I wish to mute android sounds, and tailor them for my purposes in Automagic i.e. warning sound for calls to roaming SIM-cards and spe...

Re: Multi-SIM target number identification
Dear Desmanto, I'll take your suggestion under consideration. I'll make two silent ringtones, name them sim1.ogg and sim2.ogg and associate them to their corresponding physical SIM-cards. Since I want Automagic to control all tones in my phone, they must be silent... If the trigger you suggested wor...

Re: Multi-SIM target number identification
Dear Desmanto and all, I found by coincidence the following thread in Internet; https://stackoverflow.com/questions/21397028/detect-target-phone-number-on-incoming-call-is-it-for-sim-1-or-for-sim-2 It suggests that you can actually probe the incoming target SIM-card-info by ”listening” to a standard...

Target SIM identification by incoming calls
Dear Martin, Even though we live in 2020 a.d., and globalized networking îs booming, the roaming penalties are still exorbitant. I have posted in the forum a thread on incoming call early target SIM detection, so that I can program Automagic to play another ringtone to alert me if the caller calls m...

Re: Multi-SIM target number identification
Dear Desmanto, Thank you for your suggestions. I am trying to migrate to total telephone control by Automagic (together with my smart house) so just hardcore setting different ringtones on different SIM-cards is currently not an option. I will try to reach out to Martin to see if he can implement th...
