It might be worth a try to contact the Google Play dev team through the Twitter account (@GooglePlayDev) mentioned in the Android Police article Desmanto linked to. I'm chocked, but it seems that with enough luck you might actually get a human response over there.

The problem only start (and escalates) when I edit scripts/texts. Nothing else in Automagic triggers the problem for me.

I have also had the problem when I edit large chunks of text in Google Keep, so the problem isn't only triggered by Automagic.

Is there a possibility that we in a future version can get the forced upper case in Automagic's Toggle Widgets removed? I love the widgets but really would like to mix upper case and lower case.

Any more news regarding Automagic getting approved or not?

It's really convenient to have them. Gboard has those too, including buttons for selecting, copying and pasting text. The only bad thing about Gboards implementation is that they are two taps away from the normal keyboard.

Bad news... it's still there. I also tried SwiftKey and a few other recommended keyboards, but still prefer the way how Gboard works. Anyone else tried the new Gboard beta (Oct 22)? I haven't had time to try it much, but I have yet to see the extreme slowdowns I've experienced in the last couple of months when scripting in Automagic. Fingers crossed that the bug is fixed!
