Samsung Galaxy S8+ on Verizon. Automagic version 1.37.0. Phone recently update to Android P Automagic has worked flawlessly in the past. Re: App Task Started - Requires Reset
Martin was able to identify the issue and it appears to be ROM-related. On my Samsung Galaxy S8+, it appears the ROM doesn't send the required event to notify Automagic when the notification drawer is closed. This means that the last action (App Task Ended) remains active. This might simply be a ROM...

Re: App Task Started - Requires Reset
I also tried Usage Statistics (you should see it in the app flow I emailed) and it behaves the same way.

Re: App Task Started - Requires Reset
Ok, I am about to send the log. Here are the key events: 28.07.2017 10:42:35.518 -> This shows the app task started event -waited about ten seconds- 28.07.2017 10:42:46.709 -> This is the app task ended trigger when I "pulled down" the notification bar. -waited about ten seconds- I moved the notific...

Re: App Task Started - Requires Reset
Will do.
As a side note, I did enable a "Notification on Screen" that comes up when the "App Task Ended" flow is executed ... and when I bring down the notification bar, I DO SEE the message.

Re: App Task Started - Requires Reset
Yeah, the solution is much easier ... but would be cool to be fixed for real issue.
But, it obviously isn't a big issue for many users so I won't worry about it.

Re: App Task Started - Requires Reset
@Desmanto - As you suggested, I swiped down twice and it behaved like the "App Task Started" and no message appeared on the second swipe. BUT!!! I found a really interesting thing during this troubleshooting. It appears to ONLY happen with the notification bar. Here is what I did: I opened the app, ...

Re: App Task Started - Requires Reset
@Desmanto. Thanks for the idea on "Notification on screen". I have never done any real troubleshooting in Automagic other than log viewing. So, I added a "Notification on screen" for both the "App Task Started" and "App Task Ended" that says " Application started" and " Application Closed ", respect...

Re: App Task Started - Requires Reset
Thank you for the response. I may be confused. My normal screen timeout is 30 seconds. When an app is running (in focus), I want the screen timeout to be 10 minutes. When that same app closes ... I want it to go back to 30 seconds. My problem is that it used to work perfectly fine. In the past, I wo...
