Making Automagic open-source . . .
I wonder if profit from the app, by keeping it in Google store, is actually worth to keep the app private. Because when thinking about making the app open source, what is likely to come with it is that there are bigger rewards both for users and for you as developer. It appears to be like so, becaus...

Re: Automagic to remove SMS and Call log features in update
I wonder if profit from the app by keeping it in Google store is actually worth to keep the app private. By making the app open source there are bigger rewards both for users and for you as developer. Why is this? Because if you'll Google around for open-source alternatives to Tasker, you'll see the...

Re: Importing Tasker xml Tasks/Profiles?
If you recognize Automagic as better than Tasker, that will drive you to embrace AM methodology and go through the one-time pain of recreating the functionality you want in AM. It would take maybe two weeks to set manually everything up that I have in Tasker. And possibly some bug testing some time...

Re: Automagic to remove SMS and Call log features in update
Yea it's a bummer because Joao does figure out ways. I see the concern but it's another reason for me to skip jumping over from Tasker to Automagic. It's like something needs to be done and it is not done. Maybe the rewards are not good enough to go through the work to figure it out, other things mo...

Re: Importing Tasker xml Tasks/Profiles?
Should say I'm still on Tasker because there is no import option from Tasker xml (now it's year later). I have so much things with Tasker and it's just too time consuming to build totally from scratch. It's time consuming enough to figure out the differences between Tasker/Automagic once I do get im...

Re: Simple Desktop Editor
If would be made, those that otherwise would not be interested will more likely to then become interested. Think big. There will be more sensors and ML implementation explosion to mainstream use. Only way without going towards more complexity is apparently staying dumb/primitive. The future is about...

Re: Simple Desktop Editor
Something like that: https://www.grammatech.com/products/code-visualization
Maybe team up with Jao to try to build something like that.

Re: Simple Desktop Editor
What I'm really interested in is simply better feedback of what is going on. I would not mind using Tasker if I could have Automagic kind of map including all the things running in real time on the screen, so I can see from computer screen where is the bug . . . .

Re: Simple Desktop Editor
