This flow finds all user and system apps installed on your device, then loops through the list and deletes the cache of each app.
The flow is scheduled to run every 6 hours, at 12:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
You can also run this flow manually, as required.
Root access is required. Use at your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage or malfunction this flow might cause to your device.

Clean apps cache

Re: Clean apps cache
Thank you very much for providing this. I have installed this and it works perfectly.
I am wondering what you use it for.
For me, I have noticed that occasionally my phone seems to begin a rapid battery drain for no reason that I can figure out. I discovered that if I use Titanium to delete the cache for all apps, that seems to resolve the issue. However after that runs, there are a couple of setup things that I need to "restore" (default keyboard, apps with accessibility access). I want to see if this could have the same positive benefits.

Re: Clean apps cache
I'm glad it works for you and that you find it useful!
I currently have a Moto G 3rd gen with only 8GB internal storage and Resurrection Remix custom ROM which left me with around 3GB available initially. Now I have a phone full of apps and only 0.5GB available. Lots of space is used by apps data and cache. I managed to create a partition on SD card which emulates internal memory, so I ended up with a total of about 20GB "internal" memory, but only the apps get installed on the SD card. Data and cache are still in the true internal memory, and I wouldn't even think of moving these to SD card. It's already slow as it is. Google apps are the ones taking lots of space, and then any apps that are or act like Internet browsers use a lot of cache. So I figured I can reclaim some space by cleaning apps cache regularly. The flow I posted runs every 6 hours, which might be an overkill. I changed mine to run every 3 days. I know, I shouldn't have so many apps installed, but I like experimenting a lot, and many of them are actually useful to me Regardless of how many apps one has on the phone, doing a little bit of house cleaning now and then won't hurt.
I noticed some apps on my phone lose their custom/default settings after cleaning their cache. I can't say I understand why, but I believe it's a design issue. I think these app persist their settings in the app cache instead of app data, but I might be wrong.

Re: Clean apps cache
Thanks for the explanation. I have this set to be triggered by a shortcut only and will see if this brings me the same benefits that I get with my Titanium process (which needs post process cleanup).
I do appreciate your sharing this and sharing the background. Thanks again!
