Re: Call Recorder
An evolved and better version of the same flow, this one removes the created folders in case they're completely empty.

Re: Call Recorder
A slightly evolved version of the same flow. This version makes it easier to locate the call recordings by storing them as
/sdcard/Automagic Services/Call Recordings/YEAR/MONTH/CURRENT DATE WITH THE DAY (e.g. 19 Dec 2017 (Tuesday))/Incoming or Outgoing/Call Recording.mp3

Re: Call Recorder
Many thanks for posting this. I tried to use it (Galaxy S8+, not rooted, Android 7), but I get an error:
Could not start recording audio. The selected audio source might not be available on this device.
Any thoughts as to where I could start troubleshooting?
UPDATE: Reading further in the documentation, it says "Most devices do not support the voice audio sources for call recording due to technical restrictions or legal reasons", so I guess that answers my question. Shame, as it would have been useful.

Yeah, someone in the other forum also reported the same. He've tried all source option and none is working.
Even trying to install Hi-Q MP3 recorder, and it also can't manual record the call. All other call recorder also won't work. No workaround is known till now.
Probably need to disable the SElinux, but that can cause Automagic to be removed from playstore.

Re: Call Recorder
That is the reason. You could try some custom ROM (if you're okay with rooting your device). That'll work.Philip wrote: Reading further in the documentation, it says "Most devices do not support the voice audio sources for call recording due to technical restrictions or legal reasons", so I guess that answers my question. Re: Call Recorder
I had the same error message "Could not start recording audio. The selected audio source might not be available on this device" just because a recording file with a ":" in its name could not be created. Used another file name and it worked.
Re: Call Recorder
It reminds me of VideoSolo Screen Recorder which enables people to capture screen and record video as well as audio fluently. You can also set the hotkeys to control the recording work easily.

Re: Call Recorder
I have also tried a call recording flow system to samsung galaxy phones and had same issues. Samsung phones have such issues. although it might work to older devices...
Re: Call Recorder
I think its an old version and we need the new one if available.
