Battery protection

Post by brunofin » 07 Jan 2014 16:35

I've used a few low quality chargers in the past which even with the phone plugged in, it would keep discharging during heavy usage, like Waze + TuneIn on bluetooth in the car. These chargers will waste your battery and make them last hours less than they should. I made this simple flow to warn me of this kind of chargers and protect my battery.

It needs an improvement though, it should break out of the loop when the power source is disconnected (and finish the flow).

I think you should use a Stop Flows action on Power Source disconnected trigger
In other way you can deattach charger during a 1 minute sleep, phone discharging, you attaching charger and get a wrong alert.
In such case you will also get a two threads in a flow.
So use Stop Flows action with this flow
Sorry for bad english, my native is russian.
