iPhone's Do Not Disturb

Post by obeone » 10 Jun 2014 12:28

Hi,

Here is a flow working like iPhone Do Not Disturb feature.

On an incoming call, if the phone is in silent mode, it will find (1) if the contact is in a group called « Nightcalls » or (2) if he called less than 2 minutes ago. In both case, it will activate ringer for 30 seconds.

The most left action seems to receive booth true & false conditions on the same link. Can this be checked please? I like the idea behind this flow

Yes, it's "normal".
We have to store the calling time on each call (to ring even if it is the third call), but we have to do that after evaluation of last call date.
So if it's the first call (false) of if it's second call in 2 min (true), we store the new time.

I hope my explanation is clear.

Alright, I just tested it. Works great. Great job.

As I am travelling often to different timezones, I will clearly not put my girlfriend in the Nightcalls list as she calls whenever she wants without caring for my zonetime, therefore my sleep ;)

[update] actually I inserted a Time Range condition at the top to make it 10pm-6am only, otherwise anyone in the Nightcalls list will trigger the flow and make the phone ring in the middle of the day while I could be in a meeting.
