HOW IT WORK
This flows group manage 3g data connection to save battery: when screen is off 3g data connection will be switched off if traffic data is below 10kB/s (in this way if you are using some streaming music/video it will be not interrupted). In addiction 3g data connection can be periodically activated to sync mails, message etc. Times can be modified by input dialogs. Even during auto reconnection traffic data speed is detected, so sync will be not interrupted if not completed. I decided to manage only 3g and not wifi because wifi data connection is very low power consumption. 3g data connection instead, especially when signal is low/unstable, drain a lot of battery, so in these situations using Auto connection manager you can save up to 50% of battery (i recommend to use at least 15-20min OFF for auto reconnect and 1min ON).
FEATURES
Permanent notification on status bar when service is active (img 1/2)
Data traffic detection (threshold 10kB/s)

Auto reconnect can be switched off (img 2)
When phone is rebooted last state of Auto connection manager is loaded
Input dialog and status bar message show Auto connection manager setting and auto reconnect times
When wifi is connected all unnecessary flows are disabled to save even more battery.
If 3g data connection is manually disabled even Auto connection manager will be disabled; to reactivate it use a shortcut on homescreen that refer to flow "Auto connection manager UI"

INSTRUCTIONS
Download the flow group
Enable ALL the flows except "Auto connection manager periodic"
Open "Auto connection manager UI" and create a shortcut in home to launch the main input dialog
First time you use AutoConnectionManager EDIT (IMG 3/4/5) auto reconnect time ON and OFF
To enable service tick "Enable" in the main dialog, untick to disable

NOTE
After screen goes off, data connection will be disabled after 10 seconds (if data traffic is below 10kB/s). This time is necessary to evaluate data traffic.

Tested it, followed the instructions but when waking up the device got frozen at "Auto Connection Manager periodic" (first sleep action)

Have you edit on and of times? What do you mean "got frozen"?

How do you see that it doesn't work? Remember that "Auto Connection Manager periodic" flow is automatically disabled when screen is on, so if you see it disabled that is normal. It is automatically enabled when screen goes off.
