I wonder if it's possible to show only at title bar, not at status drop-down, or at least minimum size at status drop-down. Right now I neither can shrink the size of the notification at status drop-down, nor I can unlink these 2.

I don't understand what you want to achieve. Is it to show icon at title bar? Or is it to show widget? Maybe we need some screenshot to get the idea. And it seems this should be in user help subforum instead.
