Wifi hotspot active
Hi Martin,
Any chance of adding a wifi hotspot active/inactive condition to the next version? Keep up the good work.

Re: Wifi hotspot active
Hi,
What exactly do you mean by active/inactive? You can use condition WiFi Connected or WiFi Available to do some checks.
Do you want to check whether a configured WiFi network is disabled and the WiFi supplicant will not attempt to connect to this network?
Regards,
Martin

Re: Wifi hotspot active
Sorry Martin, I should have been clearer. I would like to check to see if the phone's own wifi hotspot is tuned on, that is whether the phone is acting as a wifi AP. Thanks.
Re: Wifi hotspot active
I'd like to second this request; a trigger when the AP is turned off so WiFi could be turned back on would be awesome
Re: Wifi hotspot active
I second this as well.
When I am finished using my phone as a mobile hotspot, I often forget to turn on the WiFi. Then, when I return home, I am using mobile data instead of my home WiFi. Such a waste of time and money.

Re: Wifi hotspot active
+1 for Wifi hotspot trigger and condition
Re: Wifi hotspot active
The trigger and condition are available under name WiFi Tethering State (unofficial, might not work on all devices).
Re: Wifi hotspot active
Obviously, I think I'm kinda blind.
Thanks Martin.
Thanks Martin.
Re: Wifi hotspot active
Does it work even without the use of tethering?
Re: Wifi hotspot active
Sorry, I don't understand your question.
The condition should return false when tethering is not active.
