Hi,
Hope that this is a new request. Tried searching google & the forum with no luck...
I'd like to be able to do a soft reboot - a reboot without the need for entering a pin. Is that possible?
Best regards,
Daniel

Re: Soft reboot
Hi,
To my knowledge there's no official command available to do something like this.
On a rooted device you could use following command to restart parts of the system (requires busybox):
Execute Root Command: killall system_server
On my device no SIM-PIN needs to be entered but it still requires to enter the PIN/password/pattern of the regular lock screen (which can be bypassed on some phones using actions Set Keyguard State or Set Lock PIN/Password).
Be careful when using root-commands and create a backup before executing such commands.

Martin
