Hi,
Long time user, first time poster...
I've done a bit of research into this and I'm not sure how feasible it is. What I'd like is an action where I can set the various parameters for Mobile Data Limits.
For example:
Turn them on/off
Set billing cycle
Set warning limit
Set cut-off limit
Cheers,
Jeff
Set Mobile Data Limits Action

Re: Set Mobile Data Limits Action
Hi,
There will be a new action Init Variables Network Traffic in the next version of Automagic to get the transmitted and received bytes over the mobile data interface which should allow to create your own flows to build the features you are looking for. It will certainly require some variables to remember the values across device reboots but the variables will also allow to track the values for one billing cycle. I have not done any tests with the action yet so I'm not sure how accurate the values will be. The values will not match the values of the operator when the operator does not count the traffic to all pages.
Some operators also provide an SMS service to query the current usage and costs. This could be a good alternate way to get the values since the operator automatically takes bill cycles into account.

Martin

Hi Martin,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
That sounds like it'll do just the job!
