Hello!
As you know, working in Automagic means trial and error. Testing a lot of different things, unplugging and moving actions/conditions in different positions in the flow.
This can be a pain as you manually have to delete the noodles connecting the nodes (the lines connecting the trigger/actions/conditions).
Here are some ideas how to improve and simplifying working in Automagic:
1. Make a node switch. Instead of having to unplug a node you just tick "temporary disable node". It stays in the same place in the flow but like a cross over it or something.
2.
a) Dissconect node. Instead of deleting the noodles (connections), you just longclick a node and then hit "disconnect from flow" which will connect the node before and node/nodes after for you automagically.
b) When you longclick, ability to select multiple nodes to disonnect all of them at once.
3. Opposite. Dropping a node on a noodle between two nodes could automagically connect it in that place.
Bonus:
4. When a flow stops due to an error and the flow turns off, highlight the last node executed in the flow! It will definitely speed up the process of correcting errors.
Kindly regards

Re: Simplify testing stuff
1. +1
Not necessary for small flows but could smooth the workflow on bigger, complicated flow.
2. -1
I think it's not necessary. Especially if 1. is implemented.
3. +-0
At the current state of your suggestion it doesn't provide enough parameters to create a working line: destination node, line direction, true/false state. This idea needs some more refining but personally I think it doesn't provide much improvement over dragging the already existing plus-icon over the next element box.
4. +1
While I haven't found any difficulties finding the problematic element in cases of error, nevertheless, this might speed up the process.

+1 Would be great, since the log often is either already cleared or very convolutedSkogN wrote:4. When a flow stops due to an error and the flow turns off, highlight the last node executed in the flow! It will definitely speed up the process of correcting errors.
