Flashlight trigger

It would be possible to implement a trigger for flashlight on/off?
Lollipop implements the command directly from the quick settings, the trigger would be comfortable to replicate the functionalities I did with commanding automagic (timeout, flashlight off shaking the phone, etc.).

Hi,

Unfortunately I did not see an API in Android that would allow to check whether the flashlight is on or not. I'll add it to the todo-list when I find something.
