log auto scroll needs to remember if it was turned off.

Every time I go to the log I have to remember to turn off auto scroll. I think there should be an app wide configuration setting, as well as possibly a current session setting for auto scroll. Meaning a preference setting to set the value for each time the UI app is started and then if you are in the log the menu option will let you switch the value but the program will keep that value until you change it again or end and restart the UI.

The next version will remember the auto scroll setting used in the log. A notification on screen with a short duration with the current setting will be displayed when the user opens the log screen.
