Is that possible to select the storage to be monitored? Internal sdcard or external sdcard and the percentage of space left.

To my knowledge it's not possible to do this for the trigger.
You could periodically call the condition Device Storage Space which allows to specify the filesystem to check and whether to check the free or used space of the filesystem.
