Find out the duration of an audio file

I'm listening to podcasts and I have the idea that automagic could choose and play some podcast that have together a given time. It would be useful during a commute by car.
In order to realize that I need a possibility to find out how long an audio file is.

I'd like to add, that it would be fine if Automagic will be able to find out any attribute of any file like size, creation date... or information like geotag of photos, interpret of a mp3 file, author of an document...
