Colour scheme for syntax highlighting

Colour scheme for syntax highlighting
I struggle to see red colours against certain background colours. Can there be a 'colour blind' option in Automagic to exchange the red colour to something else in scripts?

I test as a Strong Protan.
Protanomaly is a type of red-green color vision deficiency related to a genetic anomaly of the L-cone (i.e. the red cone).

Hi,
Mainly the pure-red color within a script when the script contains an error?
Would a reddish white (50% red and 50% white) work?

Yes, the pure red. The mix might work, but I was thinking of a colour picker. I could then make it yellow, blue, whatever. Maybe even the same as non-error script colour, but underlined. But just, say, blue, would be easier to seeMartin wrote:Hi,

Re: Colour scheme for syntax highlighting
Unfortunately the next release is due to be released within the next few days so it's too risky to add options to change the color scheme for this release.
The next version will thus use a red/white color to highlight errors in a script. I have also made a change so that the text color stays white for errors when the syntax highlighting of scripts is turned off in menu->Manage->Preferences->Syntax highlighting.
I will try to put a more configurable color picker variant into the version after this one.
