Would it be possible to add some picture effects and/or adjustment sliders? I don't mean any fancy effects but rather those that comes integrated in camera API.

Yes, this should be possible. I add it to the todo-list.

Awesome! This would make automated wallpaper changer and similar flows even more interesting and feasible as I won't have to edit every single image before hand to match my preferences.
