Notification on screen action

We have this Action already and it can use a widget. But I see many apps now that slide nofications as overlays down from the top of the screen, and then hide them by sliding them up. It would be great if AM could do this too as a new part of the configuration of ths action.

It seems not yet. Having it natively is better as we don't need to design extra widget for that.

Depending on Android version you can change the channel behavior to "Make sound and pop on screen" or set the priority in the action to "Maximum".

@Wibbly : Oh, I might misunderstood. If what you mean is the pop up notification at the top of the screens (we called it heads-up), then simply set your notification to high priority (or maximum) is enough to make it appear there. And starting from Oreo 8.0 above, you should enable the notification channel behaviour as pointed out by Martin.

Android 10. Set the popup notification. Nothing happens. Anything else have to be done? How does the action need to be configured to make the popup work?

@Wibbly : Do you use whatsapp? Does whatsapp's notification also popup as heads-up? If yes, then it must have been set to high priority. Try to see the app info > notification and see how it is configured in the notification channel. Mimic the same for the Automagic's notification channel you want to pop up, and make sure the action notification on statusbar is set to high priority.

You can set each notification's behaviour by clicking on CHANNEL SETTINGS.
For outside of Automagic, swipe down from the top and you'll see at the bottom of the menu: NOTIFICATION SETTINGS.
