Known Issues on Android 5.0/5.1

Re: Known Issues on Android 5.0/5.1
Not sure if anyone else had figured this out, but a workaround for not being able to answer a phone call on 5.0+ is to set the input mode to Automagic, and then use the Control UI action to sendKey(5). This is the CALL keypress that I believe bluetooth devices use, and this will answer the call without having to root.

Does anyone know a way around this?
I am using 1.29 on Android 5.1.1

Hi,
Please check if the accessibility service of Automagic is enabled (system settings->Accessibility->Automagic). Turn it off and on again to see if this helps.
If there are other apps using such an accessibility service: open Automagic->menu->Manage->Preferences->Accessibility Feedback Type and check that not multiple apps use the same type.

Martin

Hi there,
My phone recently updated to 5.0.1 I believe, and after the update the Shourtcuts to my Flows have kept on disappearing. Every time I create the Shortcuts they stay and work for a while, but after a time (say over night) the Shortcuts disappear again. My phone is a Galaxy S4 Active, and it is not Rooted.

Hi,
I heard that this is a problem of some Samsung launchers. Unfortunately I did not experience this problem on my test devices yet and have no good idea for a workaround. You could try to install an alternate launcher if everything else fails.
You could also try to create the shortcut from within the launcher if you've used the 'Install Shortcut' button in Automagic until now: long-touch launcher, depending on launcher select shortcuts or widgets and select 'AM Shortcut'. Maybe this creates the shortcut in a slightly different way that persists after a reboot.

Re: Known Issues on Android 5.0/5.1
Ok, many thanks for tip. I've just created AM Shortcuts for my Flows, so I'll post again if this works over night.
Re: Known Issues on Android 5.0/5.1
Nope, I didn't have to wait o'night, the AM Shortcuts also disappear. As loathe as I am to try a different launcher, automagic is just too handy..
