Hello,
I have some 76 flows comprising "batch" and widgets.
Using the backup example that comes with Automagic, the backup is written out in the Internal Storage.
Implications:
Keeping the backups in the storage won't do me any good when the phone goes belly up and I need to factory reset it.
Question:
Is there any inconvenience in moving the backup(s) to my PC?
If so, how would that be achieved?
Once in my PC and I need to restore them, is it possible the restore directly from the PC to the phone?
Thank You
Husky

Re: Ideal way to save flow backup
Hello
You can modify backup flow and store backups on external sd card and then copy it to PC
You can always upload backup file to dropbox, ftp server or google drive
http://automagic4android.com/en/help/co ... pload_file
http://automagic4android.com/en/help/co ... pload_file
http://automagic4android.com/en/help/co ... load_files
With all those options you are able to access this backup file on PC as well as on the phone
If it is visible on the phone, you can always import whole file from AM
You can use for example x-plore file manager on the phone to acces your dropbox, google drive or ftp server

Re: Ideal way to save flow backup
piskor,
Thanks for the reply.
Did not consider DropBox or even GDrive.
I was thinking in a way to load the backup(s) directly to Windows, and missed the obvious.
Thanks for the links.
Best Regards
