Action Wifi Reassociate? What is it?

Hello,
Can anyone tell me what the action "Wifi Reassociate" does?

When would one use it?

Does it need a sleep before it to give it time to work?

Hi,

The action asks Android to disconnect and reconnect to the currently connected WiFi network.
I'm not sure that there is a good use for the action, maybe when the WiFi access point or the device WiFi are not working properly.
