Flow with Set System Setting running inside

Post by husky » 06 Jun 2017 23:53

Hello,

What works:
Using Set System Setting as "standalone" I'm able to set timeout to say, 20 minutes, which is not provided in the normal user settings.

What don't work:
I developed a small flow to change the timeout to any value I want.
The system does not allow me to set the desired 20 minutes (1200000 ms) from inside my flow.

Question:

Is there any way to "cheat" the system in order to allow me set any timeout different than the system defaults ?

Thank You

Hi,

What do you mean by "Standalone"? Executing the action from a flow should have the same effect as using menu->Execute from within the action.
Some devices don't refresh the system settings page that shows the current display timeout when you are already in the display settings page. Some devices also automatically switch to a "supported" value when you go to the system settings page.

Regards,
Martin

Hi Martin,

By standalone I tried to convey the idea of only an empty trigger and the Set System with value hardcoded.

I need to check the refresh situation you mentioned and recheck my flow. I might be overlooking something basic.

Thanks for the reply.

Best Regards
