Restore Brightness settings after manual change

Post by soy.dmr » 14 Jul 2017 20:40

I ever use bright level at cero, (better battery life) but some times I need to change setting to show some thing on screen and I forget return to cero screen bright. So I try to make a Flow to solve it, but I can´t  .

Can some one help me? :D

Sorry, Spanish speakers problem. Cero = Zero in spanglish...

Thank you for your help, but not solve my issue. If existed some like: Brightness change trigger, it will solve my issue.

The problem is not exist that trigger. So I don´t see other option to do that.

Sorry for my poor English, I hope understand you.

Regards.

Try this:

Make a new flow, and use the trigger Display State, and set that to "Off".

Follow the trigger with the Action Set Screen Brightness; turn Automatic brightness off, and set the level slider to zero (or "cero" ;) )

Save & exit.

Now, every time you turn off your phone's display, brightness will be re-set to zero.

The other way around is to have shortcut to set the brightness to near maximum for several minutes. I have created simple flow to set brightness to 90% for 5 minutes. After that, it will always return to automatic. Very useful when viewing photos.
