Delay within a flow?

Post by crabsticks » 12 Mar 2013 18:41

Hi,

I may be missing something obvious but I can't work out how to put a delay into a flow. What I am trying to do is have Wi-fi turn on when my screen turns on, if Wi-fi isn't connected after 2 minutes turn Wi-fi off and turn on mobile data instead. I can make this all work except I can't see a way of putting a delay in to give my Wi-fi long enough to connect after being turned on.

Thanks

Use "sleep" action.

Does 'sleep' action consume power?
Is it OK to sleep for hours in a flow?

sleep action keeps the phone awake. See http://automagic4android.com/forum/view ... f=6&t=1706

If you want delay of hours you have to use periodic timer. It doesn't keep phone awake.

But the periodic timer can only be used as a trigger and not a condition. This is the part of the reason I made the request in the request section.
