accessibility service crashing (Nougat 7.1.2)

Post by TheUnknownBuffalo » 09 Mar 2018 10:13

On my ASOP rom (Nougat 7.1.2) AM has all permissions granted inc. root, and I'm finding it is crashing, complaining the accessibility service is not available, when it was using it moments earlier. I've switched off battery optimization for AM and don't know what else to try

There are several hidden permission and battery optimization exclusion you have to whitelist for automagic. Make sure Automagic is running using status bar icon. Then in all battery optimization choose no restriction or whitelist or ignore. In permission auto start (if there is), make sure Automagic is allowed. Then never use any kind of "nuke button" (clean RAM, kill all tasks, optimize memory or similar). Those button always kill the accessibility services. It is kinda difficult to check it as it is different in each ROM. You have to check the whole setting and permissin to find it.
