Overlay control appears to not work in Oreo
I just installed Oreo on my phone. When I enable "show overlay control" in Control UI and execute quicksettings, the buttons for Info, Close, etc are overwritten by the quicksettings window. I cannot see them anymore. I have not found a way to get to the INFO button and I have tried swiping from all directions!
Anyone have a fix?

Re: Overlay control appears to not work in Oreo
It is a known problem with oreo 8.0.

I tried in Bliss Oreo 8.0. It seem I can still press the Info and then the green rectangle will be on the bottom of the quick setting, I can then close the quick setting and tap the green rectangle to copy the action script.Custom widget overlays are shown below the status bar and potentially other system windows and the lock screen. This is a new limitation of Android 8. No fix or workaround available.

Thanks for the Speedy reply.
Doesn't work that way for me. The Quick Settings screen overlays the info button and I can't see the button to press it.

Re: Overlay control appears to not work in Oreo
It seems we need a new method to invoke the INFO and GESTURE button. Several months ago I am trying to find the activity in Automagic which correspond to this Control UI Info tap. But can't find it anywhere. Should request this alternative method to invoke it. Something like press vol down or using proximity sensor or using shake.
Before that, can you try to turn your screen landscape, and see if the position changed and you can press it now.
