Re: Keypressed Trigger??
You mean a hardware (like volume buttons on the side of phone) or software button (like letter "d" on your software keyboard) press?
I remember i already saw a feature request like this some couple of months ago, about the volume buttons, and the response of Martin being that that would not be feasible (as i remember at that particular instance at least).
Software buttons... i dunno.

Re: Keypressed Trigger??
Must use root and use Trigger Command output. Example is here : viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3245
Other method also need root + xposed, using xposed addition.
BTW, Autoinput has the ability to detect the key press down and up as the trigger, without root. I wonder if Automagic can implement something like that too.

Re: Keypressed Trigger??
I have an item on my todo list to add the feature to intercept hardware key presses which will require to use the accessibility service. The feature was on hold since I never heard back from Google about the accessibility problem but I guess no news is good news so I'll try to start working on the feature when time permits (probably for 1.36 but no guarantees).

Re: Keypressed Trigger??
Yeah, google hold us too long without any further confirmation. The latest issue tracker status was "won't fixed". It has been 2,5 months and no further scary email/news from google yet about accessibility. It seems they purposely put this on hold, so new dev won't even try to use accessibility if they really don't need it.
BTW, rather than the button trigger, I would like to see the ability to select the element id first. Since CUI only lack that part to be complete : viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7234
