ONVIF flows?

Post by Wibbly » 18 Jul 2018 06:35

Anyone written any flows to control IP cameras using the ONVIF protocol?

No one yet. You got to specify what you want to do and we will try to use HTTP Request to do it. I have an IPCam with ONVIF, so maybe I can try it out too.

Thanks. I want to be able to drive it to one of the preset PTZ positions and enable/disable the IR filter/night mode. I don't have an ONVIF camera yet - I'm using old FOSCAMS with their proprietary but very simple http based API with Automagic. But I'm looking at replacing/adding ONVIF cameras now and don't understand the ONVIF protocol to replace the flows I already have with ONVIF alternatives...

Arrgh, too bad. My tplink SC3230N doesn't have PTZ nor IR. But looking at a glance at the protocol, it should be similar to http, just changing the port only. Haven't tried much yet. Still got some flows need to be tweaked first.
