Hi there,
I try to use an old Galaxy Note 4 and want it to answer incoming calls automatically, switch on the loudspeaker.
However, incoming calls are not answered and I am wondering if this is one thing that simply won't work on the Galaxy Note 4 (if so, which smartphones work?) or if I need root in order to use Method 1.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
Answer incoming call on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (method 2)

Re: Answer incoming call on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (method 2)
As a workaround I managed to simulate a click on the home button and at the same time activated the "answer call on home button" in Samsung settings and this works. However, after that, the loud speaker remains silent although the call is active and answered.
Any ideas?

Re: Answer incoming call on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (method 2)
Hi,
The actions marked as 'not officially supported' usually use internal hidden APIs or other workarounds so it's expected that it won't work on all devices. I don't have a Note 4 for tests available so it's possible that method 2 never worked on a Note 4 unfortunately. You could also try to use action Perform Action on Notification on Statusbar to click the 'Answer' button in the notification in case there's such a notification shown on the Note 4.
Enabling speakerphone usually only works when the call is accepted and the UI of the phone app is fully initialized so it's often necessary to wait a little bit with action Sleep: 5s before the speakerphone can be turned on. Alternatively you could also simulate clicks in the phone interface by using action Control UI.

Martin
