{sms_text} is null

Hi guys,

I loved Automagic. especially the UI area. Much easier to use than tasker and have tonnes of features compared to AutomateIT etc. So far so good until I am stumped on reading out my text messages. I am currently using Samsung galaxy Note 2. I tried to get my device read out SMS loud using the variable {sms_text} when I receive sms but i get a "Null" value.

Can someone help me on this ? I tried to look at forum helps but to no avail.

Flow works for me after I set my music volume up. My sms_text is not null. Do you have a non standard sms app installed?

I have many sms app. However I did try setting try setting to prevent other apps from receiving sms. Still doesn't work.

The event was not triggered at all.

Found the issue. Facebook messenger is messing up this function. For those who have Facebook messenger. Pls take note. Now everything is working. Tks to those who tried to help.
