Phone: Redmi Note 5 (Stock ROM)
Android Version: Android Pie (v9)
Automagic Version: v1.3.7 Build 20190311_155223_d52fd62
Issue: After upgrading to Android Pie, I realized that Control UI - Show Overlay Control Info is no longer working in other apps.
Control UI - Show Overlay Control Info works in Automagic itself though.
Gesture works in both automagic and other apps.
What I've tried:
1. Create a custom widget, add sleep and execute the flow to fire Show Control UI Infos, it worked for the first time but subsequent firing doesn't
2. Added action to the quick setting tile to fire the above flow but didn't work at all
Any suggestions on what I can further look into?

Re: Control UI Info
I am using Redmi Note 5 too (whyred), same AM version. It is working fine here.
Double check the draw over other app permission/Show overlay, maybe it is in broken state after the upgrade (UI show enable, but actually disabled). If it is already enabled, disable and re-enable it again.

Re: Control UI Info
Hi,
Please check if any other app is using an accessibility service. You can also open Automagic->Settings->Features & Permissions->'Accessibility Feedback type' and check if another app is listed on the selected feedback type. Switch to another one like 'Spoken' if this is the case.
Restart the device if this does not help and disable/enable the Automagic accessibility service.

Re: Control UI Info
Just to get back to you guys on this, after some toggling of random stuff I got it working again, I did changed the Accessibility Feedback type too but not sure if that is the trigger. Still, now its working and once again thanks
