Missing shortcut in Automagic.

Post by e2zippo » 17 Dec 2013 15:11

Hey! Just started to try Automagic out and it looks great but I'm having some issues setting a flow up.

Here's what I want to do.

Start an app > Launch a shortcut > Launch another shortcut (This one should be delayed for about 3 seconds)

The thing is, that I'm missing just about the only shortcut I wanna use. I'll show with some screenshots.

Here's a screenshot from when I'm trying to add a shortcut to one of my homescreens.

You'll notice "Remote Launcher" there.

And here's a screenshot from Automagic when trying to build a shortcut

Remote Launcher is just about the only one missing, what's up with that, got any idea?
I tried Llama doing the same thing, and Remote Launcher is showing up there, however, I couldn't add a delay between the two shortcuts and Automagic looks way better :)

Thanks!

Hi,

I can reproduce the problem. Remote Launcher declares the shortcut capability slightly different than other apps so Automagic does not recognize the shortcut. This is definitely a bug in Automagic.
This bug should be fixed in the next update.

Thanks for reporting!

Sounds great! While I'm at it, I just assumed it's possible to add a delay between two actions as I stated before, but I can't seem to find how to do it?

Like this: Start an app > Launch a shortcut > Launch another shortcut (This one should be delayed for about 3 seconds)

Cheers!

You can add an action Sleep:
-action Launch Shortcut: shortcut 1
-action Sleep: 3s
-action Launch Shortcut: shortcut 2

BTW: The shortcut bug should be fixed in the latest EAP-version available in the EAP-forum.

Martin
