email encryption using k9 mail and apg

Hello.
I realy like Automagic and I recommend it to push it within my social community.
The more I´m working with Automagic, the more Ideas I have to check them out.
Here is one of my Ideas I don`t know how to realize.
May be you can give me a hand.

Tasker has the ability to encrypt and decrypt files. Unfortunately this feature is not implemented in the play store version due to US export restrictions.
I´m using K9 mail with APG on my Android device. Due to the global Internet traffic surveillance I would like to encrypt data before sending them with automagic.
Is it possible to
- use k9 mail /APG within an automated process in automagic?
- to encrypt files before sending with apg ?

Hi,

Unfortunately it seems that APG does not provide a plugin that can be used in automation tools like Automagic. Maybe APG allows to use intents to automate some actions, but you have to ask the makers of APG about this.

If they don't provide anything, you could automate some aspects by controlling the user interface with action Control UI or on a rooted device use Execute Root Command: input tap x y or Execute Root Command: input keyevent 20 and similar commands. One more question.
Is it possible to use another Email provider / App as Gmail/google?

Gmail is the only supported provider at the moment. Supporting SMTP in general is on my list of features under consideration but it has quite a low priority since Google mail works for most users.
The plugin SendSilentMail supports SMTP (untested by me).
