Movement trigger not firing anymore

Post by SeveQ » 15 May 2014 09:36

Hi folks,

I'm new to Automagic. I have created a flow that activates my ringtone when the phone is moved between 8am and 10pm. After a fresh boot everything works like a charm. But after a while the movement trigger just stops firing and I can't for the life of me figure out why.

I've got a German Samsung Galaxy S4 with KitKat 4.4.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers,
Hendrik

BTW, ich bin selbst neu hier - and I might be wrong. Good luck :)

Hi Hendrik,

What's the exact name of the trigger you are using, User Activity resp. Benutzeraktivität?
If yes, there are a few known issues with the Google Play services. Especially switching GPS/network location on/off can cause the Google Play services to stop working.

Does disabling/enabling the trigger help? Is there anything in the log of Automagic when the trigger stops working?

Regards,
Martin

To avoid further confusion about language, here's a screenshot of the flow.

The KitKat was updated several months ago. So it's not related to the update.

Only so much at the moment, I'm on my way home, right now. Will get back to you later...

//edit: Ah, and by the way, ja, ich bin auch Muttersprachler Deutsch, aber ich hab den Eindruck, die Hauptsprache dieses Forums ist Englisch and hence I'll stick to that if that's okay. Correct me if I'm wrong...
