Forced changed location, cleaner script

Post by angelatwork » 30 Aug 2014 14:22

I have a location that is not targeted right by Google maps or drivers journal apps, so I have to force it.Even with waiting for 16 satellites to catch my position GPS more than 3 minutes they will get the wrong road and driving it is a difference of about 800 meters. Several times a day it makes quite a difference. And it takes a very long time to pinpoint it.

I was wondering if anyone can take a look at the appended subflow. It fails sometimes. Is there a better way to script it?
Also I have read from an app maker that Google maps uses last location, network and gps in that order to find a location. Can anyone confirm that?
Using high accuracy gets the same result as network . Only GPS gets it right sometimes after more than 3 minutes, most times not. The radius only seems to work with GPS or high accuracy. But my problem is the address maps is assigning me. So I need a fast good work around. As you can see I am trying to use the Lan to getting a faster location, but if starting the flow in the car the Lan might already be out of reach.

Is there away to get my scripted location get stored in last known location instead of the falty one? Preferably unrooted, but I have rooted my tablet so if there's a rooted solution I am open for that too.

Any input is welcome

Here is the subflow that needs to be optimized.

Is there anyone who has made a working drivers log? Now I am getting the distance from Google hoping Google maps thought I should have driven the way I did drive. I want it automated so the apps where you fill in your locations is not an option. And the drivers logs that is half automated by self getting the address will not suffice, since the address that is used most well be wrong.
