Shortcut bug

Post by jazoom » 17 Sep 2014 04:33

Found a bug with shortcuts.

I created a shortcut. Copied it. Changed the copy to do something else. Tried to create the shortcut and it told me I needed to change the name of the trigger. It actually still created a shortcut, which is probably a bug in itself. Anyway, I deleted that shortcut and changed the trigger name and recreated the shortcut.

The problem: When I activate this shortcut OR the original one (which has a completely different function) BOTH flows are triggered.

Hi,

I see that the documentation is lacking for this trigger, will be extended...
The title defined in the configuration of the shortcut determines whether a trigger is executed. So you can create a shortcut with title test1, press Install Shortcut, create a second flow with a shortcut trigger that also uses test1 as the title and both shortcuts should execute both flows. The shortcut uses the title defined at the time when Install Shortcut is pressed.

Regards,
Martin

Yeah, that's why I deleted the initial shortcut and changed the name, then made another shortcut. All shortcuts I make STILL execute all flows. I even copied the flow and started again, being sure to change the name and it has the same problem.

Okay, I just tried it all again. It appears I've been changing "name" instead of "title". Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I thought I was doing it right since I never got that "change the title" message again after I changed the name.
