Hey Martin,
Is there a way to pair a phone with a bluetooth headset without using ControlUI? I'm trying to pair on different phones with the same flow and the different UI's are giving me trouble. The other option would be a way to check the UI of the phone (stock Android, Samsung TouchWiz, HTC Sense) and then press different buttons depending on the UI. Currently I try to connect to the headset, open the notification draw, click the pairing request, and click pair, but that doesn't work on some LG phones. Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Paring to Headset
Hi,
There's no action to directly pair BT devices and I'm not sure if Android even provides an official API to do this without going through the regular user interface, but I could be wrong.
What kind of problems do you face when using Control UI to drive the user interface on LG phones? Are the buttons to accept the pairing named differently or does LG take more time to show the dialog?
Regards,
Martin

The buttons to accept the pairing are different. Namely, there's no notification you have to press in the notification drawer. I'm not sure how to do conditional statements with Control UI, so it gets tricky.
