Medien or System Soundlevel

Post by COUPI64 » 19 Mar 2015 15:46

Hi Martin,

I Have a HTC One M8 and I want to Programm a new script: When I start my Navigationsystem (Navigon) the Mediensoundlevel should be 70 % and the Systemsoundlevel should be 100 % (as wrote in the HTC One). But I don't find the Percent, only 0 till 15 (for medien) or till 7 (for System). Could you help me? THX. COUPI64.

Android volume control are not set by percentages but rather levels. Depending on the device (and the level of core customization you do) you have different amount of levels. For example by default on my device, I have levels 0 to 15 for media (like you do), but changed that to 63, since I wanted a finer grain of volume control (to do that you need root access). Each time you press the volume rocker (vol+ or vol- button) it goes up/down by one level. In your case, if you want 70%, just do a standard interpolation: level0=0% / level15=100% / level10=66% / level11=73%.

Now it's up to you to choose ;)
