But your latter answer seems more like what I thought. It seems like it does not matter what I do if I don't check the option disable other accesspoints, nothing happens IRL, although the flow works fine.
...........
Looks like it is a reverse path to achieve the same goal. A "there will remain only one" approach. So you can mark your problem as "solved". Hope also the thread owner got rid of his.
However the side effects and misunderstandings in this conversation made me lol alone.

Yes, me too

. It would be good if we had a button for solved, but we don't, do we? And the heading is not long enough to write solved in front without losing important info.
For informational purposes ;
It works only sporadically if the disable other access points is not checked. But it seems to be easier (more reliable) to connect to LAN than to the hot-spot tethering, although that hot-spot network settings is saved on my Tab and is prioritized in the flow.
Nice talking to you!
Best regards,

Tethered hot spots seem to be less reliable also to me.
This conversation gave me some hints on how to further refine my wifi management.
It's always a pleasure to share and see new ways to tackle with a problem.
I enjoyed a lot this conversation also.
See you in this land (of desperation) again.
