I have been using Llama then Tasker but wanted to try Automagic out. I need a profile that when I am at the office between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM, switch the phone on silent. However, I also want it to switch to normal when I leave for lunch but when I come back, switch it back to silent. Here is what I did but I wanted to make sure this is the best way to accomplish this:

Periodic Location update every 5 minutes > check to see if I am connected to the cell towers in the area > check the time range > true, change to vibrate, false, change to normal.

Does the Periodic Location Update running every 5 minutes use up a lot of battery?

The more often you set it to trigger, more it will eat the battery. In your situation it might be the best option. However, you can add a second flow to disable the first one, when it is outside of desired time range. That will definitely help with the battery.
