Issue with phone cell gsm trigger after update to v1.20

Hi,

Since I've updated to automagic to v1.20 on play store (previously I was using playstore version 1.19) Phone Cell GSM Trigger doesn't work when the phone's is in sleep mode, it only runs when I turn on the screen. I know there are some roms (maybe even the stock one?) where it's the normal way, but it was working in 1.19. Could you fix this issue?

My device is a Nexus 4 with CM11.

Did you also update the ROM at about the same time or only Automagic?
Are you using the option Wake device every: Xm?

No, I didn't touch the rom, that's why i'm almost sure, it's an automagic bug.

There was no change in Automagic in this particular area that would explain this change in behavior.
Did you uninstall or update any other apps at about the same time or did you change some settings of the phone at the time it stopped working (for example location settings, synchronization settings)? Are the Google apps (especially Google play services) installed?
I will try to reproduce this problem on a Nexus 4 with CM11.

I don't know, I will enable it and will report later. As far as I remember, no other apps was updated. Gapps is intalled. I didn't touch neather location, nor synchronization settings, didn't change anything.

Unfortunately wake device after 5 minutes option didn't help. But I saw on my phone about, that I'm using the old (JB) baseband on my phone, and the rom was KRT16S. I'll update to the latest radio, and KOT49H (4.4.2) and will report later.

I've tried to reproduce this issue on a Nexus 4 with CM 11 but have not yet found a difference between versions 1.19 and 1.20.
I observed that this device updates the cell information only when the device is active (caused either by Automagic or another app). Turning the screen on updates the cell info immediately, waking the device with option 'Wake device every N minutes' did not help when everything else is disabled (location, mobile data, screen off).

I assume that there was an app running in the background that either used mobile data (for example a periodic calendar sync) or an app requested location updates which caused the device to update the cell information.

Creating mobile data traffic was quite a reliable method to update the cell info when the display is off.
Example flow:
-trigger Periodic Timer: every N minutes
-action HTTP Request: GET http://www.google.com/

Another method that worked was to create a flow with a trigger Location (no actions required). This caused the device to update the cell information every few minutes.

Is one of the above methods also working on your device?

I've updated my rom and the radio and it seems the issue is gone. Thanks to your fast answer to the report (which was wrong, sorry about that).
