That is probably caused by the font you're using. It seems to be larger than is intended to be used. I'm not sure, how the layout is supposed to handle large font, but lowering the font size should provide a fix.

have you cross checked if this looks the same on other devices?
I'm guessing that this is an issue where your system has assigned a local font.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

The layout does not work well when the text on the button spans two lines. I will probably force a line break and show the count always on the second line. This should be fixed in the next version.
