Lux Plugin can't be configured

Post by jazoom » 14 Sep 2014 12:00

This works fine in Tasker but the problem is the configuration doesn't seem to save in Automagic. I've tried about 20 times and it only saved once. That would have been okay but I have another profile to set up and I can't get it configured.

This plugin behaves extremely strange. I was able to configure one instance of the plugin but the configuration does not return anything when I try to configure a second instance. When I force-stop Lux, I can configure and save one more plugin instance. It almost looks like Lux internally remembers that it was configured already once.
Can you also configure more plugin actions when you force-stop Lux in between?

Hey yeah, that worked! If I keep force closing it I can keep changing the configurations. Do you want me to contact the developer of Lux? I'd like to get these two apps playing nice since they are two of my favourites.

I made some more tests and it seems to happen after the Cancel-button in the plugin configuration screen of Lux is used once. Starting from this moment it returns no results to Automagic anymore but always returns the value to signal that the configuration was cancelled.
I have contacted the developer of Lux Auto Brightness about this issue.

The developer of Lux has confirmed that this is a bug in Lux. A new version of Lux should become available in a few days.
