Instructions for a beginner, where?

Post by ghostrider » 12 Jul 2015 19:29

I just arrived to automagic coming from the awful tasker. Automagic was a bit better on the ergonomic side but...well I don't know how to implement the commands I want to use. E.g., let's say I want to use this little app to make the low battery warning disappear. In fact sometimes it pops up while I'm driving using tomtom and if I don't touch the screen the right way, it stays there!!! I tried to create a flow to take care of this issue but so far I have been unable. Someone told me there should be a command, a syntax or something but where can I find the right help?
Is this another app with a learning curve so steep that I'll throw the phone out of the windows? Please tell me this is not the case.

Hi,

Automagic provides so many triggers, conditions and actions that the learning curve can be steep.

We provide some basic tutorials on our website:
http://automagic4android.com/en/help/cr ... first-flow
http://automagic4android.com/en/help/cr ... tom-widget

There are also some predefined flows available in the catalog (on the flow list: menu->Catalog) that can be useful.

It sounds like you could automate your process with trigger Notification on Statusbar Displayed, package showing the notification is probably android (the system itself). You can remove the notification with action Remove Notification on Statusbar and setting General (requires Android 4.3+).

Regards,
Martin
