What's the correct way to transfer all my flows etc to a new phone without creating any errors etc on the new phone? I.e. the best way to move all the data?

There are different approaches:

1. use menu->Manage->Send Flows/Widgets, select all, OK, mail the file to yourself and click the attachment on the new phone to import the flows/widgets. This will not retain the global variables and the flows will be turned off by default. You can also use action Export Flows/Widgets with * to export all flows/widgets to a file.
2. ensure Automagic is not running on the new device (force stop Automagic) and clear the data of Automagic. Copy the contents of folder /storage/emulated/0/Automagic to the new device, start Automagic on the new device. This usually also preserves variables and state of the flows.
