Question on Google Drive

Hi all,
anyone has experinces concerning action "google drive upload"?
I have two issues:
1. When I select my Gdrive account and hit "ok" Automagic always says "access failed"

Google Drive app is working fine and permissions are all granted.
2. How to declare the absolute upload path? Say I have a folder "test" on my drive. How can I address it correctly? Something like \test?
First point prevents further testing. So I think I can solve second point once automagic gets successfully connects to my Gdrive account...
Please help out. Thanks a lot

Hi,
I'm not aware about any reports of this problem. Are you using the latest version of Automagic available from Google Play?
Are Google Play services installed on your device?
The path would have to look like /test or /test/file.txt.
Regards,
Martin

Hi Martin,
thanks for your answer. I cannot believe the problem is only on my device...
Flow is quite simple: Trigger Time > If Wlan connected > Gdrive upload > Notification
For me it is not working on latest EAP. I'm on Android M with a Nexus 5. Of course play services are up to date.
Gdrive app is working fine but somehow Automagic fails to read my account.
Google account is correctly listed but when selecting and confirming it always says "access failed" immediately.
It seems Automagic not even trys to gain access. This happens on WLAN and LTE.
Any ideas? Can someone else reproduce/test this issue?
Thanks again for your hard work on this great app.
Regards

Are you using Xprivacy or some other similar security app that could prevent AM to connect to the Gdrive account?

Nope

on the contrary... I made sure that Automagic has every right possible... But thanks for trying to help
Anyone else having an idea?
Or an anyone confirm a working Google drive upload action?
If you're using Gdrive please do a quick test:
New Flow > action Gdrive upload > choose your account and hit ok > this is where it says "no access" ...
Thanks all

That's a very strange issue, I have no idea what the cause might be. Is there anything written to the log of Automagic, after the access failed?
Please enable
Debug Log in Automagic before trying again and then send the log to me (menu->Manage->Log, menu->Send log).
Please also try to uninstall/reinstall Automagic to clear all internal data of Automagic and try again. Flows and Widgets should survive but I still recommend to create a
backup just in case anything goes wrong.

Hi qwertz,
Did you get the message window like in the picture I attached?
I pressed "Ok" and Automagic said something like "Access granted".
Phone: OnePlus One / CM12.1

Hi Martin,
thanks for advices. I'll try to debug as well as reinstall and check...
@Holo0815:
Thanks for your infos. Unfortunately I never saw this popup asking for permission.
But I think that is proof of a generally working feature... Only not on my device...
Maybe I can sort it out some way. I'll report back.
Thanks all.

Uninstalled Automagic completely, deleted all data, reinstalled...
Problem still persists
One more question to Holo0815: CM12.1 is Android 5.1.1 right?
Anyone out there can test Gdrive with Android 6 and uptodate Play Services?
Please post results here.
Would be great. Thanks!
